Alright, I'm working on the version as seen from the other side, most of the actual events in question presented by Jade are true, although the reasons for them are much different. Also some missing chapters in that account.

Okay I'm essentially going to start this account with the formation of the Forsaken Empire last December, which is when I returned to Eve after a 3-month hiatus.

First, however, I need to correct one thing that was patently incorrect about BioMass Cartel's formation and M3G4's demise . . . M3G4 was a corporation run by a guy named smoked. Around the end of the VA/NVA conflict, it was discovered by several M3G4 members that smoked had been selling corporation assets on a popular online auction website. Thus, the key members of M3G4 left and started a full-out pirate corporation (BM-C) based in the upper Forge and FDZ4-A areas.

Three months go by, while the North continues to be ravaged by raiding and warfare conducted by BioMass Cartel, Space Invaders, Valkyrie, and several other pirate outfits, supported by the industrial operations of Crice Corp and Huff Tech . . . NVA suffers massive defeats and begins to question why this conflict is happening in the first place. This is now mid-December, 2003:

1. The Forsaken Empire is formed as an alliance of pirate corporations in Pure Blind, Tribute, and Vale of the Silent. Bases of operation are primarily EC-P8R, P3EN-E, and FDZ4-A. Halseth Durn and other officials from NVA corporations open lines of communication with BM-C. Darwin informs them that the primary reason for the incessant warfare is Jade Constantine and Jericho Fraction, insomuch as they continually post infuriating topics on the Eve Online discussion forums.

2. Halseth and the corporations who eventually form the Phoenix Alliance reach an agreement with the Forsaken Empire for a cessation of hostilities, on the condition that Jade Constantine and Jericho Fraction are ejected, and never would return.

3(a). BioMass Cartel, Huff Tech, and other F-E member corporations declare war on the Fountain Alliance, and join forces with m0o in a campaign in FA territory. The campaign goes well but eventually grinds to a halting stalemate, with the FA controlling the board during European prime time and the pirate forces controlling the board during U.S. prime time. Eventually the battle-hardened F-E forces return to their home territory, withdraw from Pure Blind, and begin removing all neutrals and enemies from Geminate, Vale of the Silent, and Tribute.

3(b). Mid- January, 2004: The Forsaken Emperor is crowned, and the five main leaders of its member corporations become the "pillars" of the Emperor, charged with carrying out His will. The F-E corporations are consolidated into a single entity. The Emperor lays official claim to the three regions mentioned above, enforcing it through brute military strength (and 23/7 vigilance over points of entry).

4. Early Feb. 2004: player owned stations are added into the game. F-E begins its mining program in d7-zac, bringing in neutral corporations to mine under F-E supervision. F-E completes dominance over its regions, the North is empty as a graveyard. F-E renounces piracy and joins the Curse Alliance as a subsidiary unit.

5(a). F-E becomes subject to all of CA's political entanglements - i.e. wars and NAPs. At the time, the only war was with SA, and NAPs extending to PA, FA, and other entities.

5(b). m0o and Evolution move to attack F-E forces in Obe and P3EN-E. They are met with stiff resistance and ultimately defeated in less than a week. They return to CA space to attack miners and traders.

6. F-E pilots become restless. In mid-February, Grand Admiral Hupa receives a call for aid from SweatySack of the Fade Alliance. Fade was overrun by hostile Black Nova Corp forces from NORAD. BNC laid its claim to the region and established rules and guidelines governing the weak Fade Alliance. Hupa organizes a fleet of 9 elite F-E pilots, who travel to C4C to help repel the invading BNC forces.

7. A carnage on a massive scale ensues. The 9 F-E battleships obliterate an enemy force of 16 battleships and 19 cruisers outside the C4C refinery station. F-E negotiates Fade as a protectorate region in exchange for control over the C4C refinery and a taxation scheme.

8. Over the course of 2 weeks, BNC pilots are locked into the C4C station and are forced to negotiate terms of unilateral surrender. Heaps of loot and cash are paid to the F-E to guarantee safe passage out of Fade for BNC forces.

9. Late February: in other galaxies, Lineage 2 enters the final phase of closed beta. Several F-E pilots subsequently become somewhat inactive as a result of the pending L2 open beta. Huff Tech, frustrated with the anti-piracy stance of the F-E leadership, and frustrated with the abundance of NAP agreements, begins internal subversive operations. Huff begins attacking contracted mining corporations, which escalates into a full-scale civil war. Over the course of 3 days, 15+ Huff battleships are destroyed by the F-E navy, and Huff retreats to other space.

10. In a sudden wave of opportunism, and due to pressure from a massive invasion of hostile forces into Fade space, FU renounces their allegiance to F-E and retakes the C4C station.10. Early March 2004: Lineage 2 enters open beta, 75% of F-E pilots become inactive as a result. The remaining forces keep up the illusion of a massive F-E presence by camping entry-points to F-E space.

11. RKK and its new friends in Fade and Deklein seize the opportunity to "overthrow" the F-E while the majority of its members are playing Lineage II. They defeat the remaining F-E forces and claim F-E territory on behalf of the NAST.

12. F-E suffers from a debilitating corp theft. Former Valkyrie CEO used his status as a director to rip off the F-E to the tune of several billions of isk worth of minerals. Remaining F-E members leave and form a series of new corporations.

13. March 2004: Silent Guard corporation is formed under the direction of PerrinAybarra. SGD retreats to FDZ4-A to rebuild.

14. Over the course of March and early April 2004, the former F-E territory becomes overrun by NAST carebears. The UNICOR alliance is formed, and lays claim to Vale of the Silent of Geminate. A constant stream of carebears enters the North. Peace is at its apex, evil has been defeated for a time.

15. April 2004: I return to the game, and rejoin my friends in Paladins of the red skull. A pitched battle is fought in p3en-e against RKK forces, joined by former F-E pilots, Oracles of Curse, and Silent Guard pilots. Faced with overwhelming odds, the pirate forces are ultimately defeated after 3 hours of combat in what became known as the Battle of P3EN-E (this battle occurred at the IPAY gate in p3, and was witnessed by many-a-noob who was randomly traveling through the area Wink).

16. Paladins of the Red Skull begins terrorist operations out of Obe. Millennium and other UNICOR forces are decisively defeated in p3en-e and retreat to deep space Vale of the Silent (believe MLM went out to JZV-F4). D7-ZAC station is frequently conquered by PLD forces, until eventually Fade, the PA, and COD join the fight and bring overwhelming forces to quell the rebellion.

17. It becomes apparent that if pirates will ever again gain the upper hand in the former F-E territory, NAST will have to be defeated from within.

18. April 2004: Paladins of the red skull continues terrorist operations based out of Obe, while communicating with our former F-E friends out in FDZ4-A. PLD successfully defeats several fleets and causes serious disruption in the "free space" nature of the NAST. UNICOR fully withdraws from Tribute and relocates deep into the Vale of the Silent at LS-JEP and JZV-F4.

19. In late April, I receive a communication from Conmen, who proposes hiring Paladins to "kill all non-PA ships in Tribute and the Vale." Cyberdyne Industries betrays Rev0luti0n, in a dishonorable gang-gank. PLD teams up with Rev0l, and PA moves ships down to D7-ZAC to fight Rev0l and PLD. THIS battle takes place.

20. I publicize the chat log between myself and Conmen, sending it to Phonix and other FU individuals. Much dissent occurs, including a VERY interesting teamspeak exchange between Sh1ttake and Phonix (I can post it up if anyone is interested in a recap Wink), and NAST crumbles.

21. May 2004: Civil war in NAST. While Jericho and the forces now known as the NCA declare war on their former PA allies, Silent Guard and company, forgotten for the moment in FDZ4-A, begins pirate raiding operations against the entrenched UNICOR forces in LS-JEP and JZV-F4.

22. Mid- May 2004: Several former F-E pilots return from the HELLHOLE that is Lineage 2. The Pirate Syndicate alliance is officially chartered and headquartered in FDZ4-A. Silent Guard, the renewed BioMass Cartel, and Soldiers of Anarchy take the lead in attacks against UNICOR forces.

23. June 2004: Frigate raiding parties become small fleets, and UNICOR mining corporations are slaughtered. Guerilla raiding tactics lead TPS to victory after devastating victory, with minimal losses. Recruitment efforts bring several new corporations down to FDZ4-A, and other pirate corporations settle in Obe and begin camping in P3EN-E. UNICOR is cut off from leisurely access to empire space.

24. July 2004: UNICOR forces are pared down to pvpers-only. The war comes to a grinding stalemate when UNICOR relocates its main battle force to FDZ4-A. TPS begins psychological warfare operations; droves of former UNICOR pilots begin defecting to the Dark Side. Cease fire is eventually signed by the parties, and UNICOR is given 1 week to move its assets out of TPS claimed space.

25. Late July 2004: TPS (based in Geminate and Vale of the Silent) merges with Ganksta Nation (pirate alliance in Tribute), consolidating control over all the former territories of the Forsaken Empire. Much effort is devoted to smoothing over the merger; Celestial Apocalypse continues its anti-pirate operations in the upper Vale and lower Tribute regions.

26. TPS begins operations in Pure Blind . . . and now we come to the present Cool.

Hope this helps! This is as best I can remember, TPS members please feel free to correct me on anything that is due to my faulty memory Wink.

Zzazzt,

You guys fought hard and hung on far longer than I or anybody else expected. However, the kills/losses were certainly not even on both sides. We destroyed probably 10x what you guys did, otherwise we would have been crushed to an oblivion, we were able to organize gang of more than 10-12 pilots once maybe? twice? It is true, however, during the last 3 weeks of the conflict things were far more balanced, possibly even UNICOR having the edge until the final few days. That was after the territory was desolate of miners and traders, and the only people left were your experienced pvpers.

But the basic fact is that you guys fought like scared kittens for the ENTIRE conflict. At least 2, often more warp core stabilizers, and you would never engage our forces without at minimum 1.5 to 1 number advantage, often not even then. UNICOR morale was destroyed by exposing the basic fact that you guys fought like cowards, and places of honor were offered to the pvpers we had respect for (Captain Tinrib, Zarthanon, Marcus Cole, etc.). I'm sorry but trying to say that this war was an even battle is just dishonest, although it was hard fought and you guys just refused to give up.

Cao

PS. The whole CoD thing to me stinks, they sign an agreement (NAST) "because we were forced to by Big Bad Halseth" and then they willfully violate the terms, is what it looks like to me. Seems to me the CoD is the one who deserves the label of dishonor.
